The Keep of Marrsfist was built by the Knights of the Order of Marr as a bastion between the City of Freeport and the hordes of Orcs, bandits, and less savory things found in the Commonlands. One day a young knight, named Gynok Moltar, came to the keep and asked to join the company there. They took him in, unknowing the horror that was to come. That night all within the Keep were slaughtered, but that was not enough, for Moltar carried with him the Curse of Undeath. The fallen warriors and servants rose as ghosts, zombies, skeletons, and less wholesome things.

Trivia	Moltar had been exiled from Qeynos for unspeakable acts, and if the name seems familiar, don't be too surprised for you have met him before. Gynok Moltar was the first wielder of the Bone Bladed Claymore and you faced his spirit in Stormhold.

The following quests are grouped by where they start rather than where they go. Some of the quests start in one instance and end in another.

All of the quests in this series are Heroic, unless noted otherwise.

There is also a Raid version of Befallen: Cavern of the Afflicted, called Tomb of the Mad Crusader.
